2012年，印度针对LED产品发布了十项IS对应标准（见下表），内容主要涉及安全、性能、测试方法等方面，但目前尚未将LED产品纳入强制性的BIS产品清单。
关企业应提前了解标准对LED产品的要求，并密切关注印度对LED产品的最新动态，在印度将LED产品纳入强制性认证产品范围内之前，及时做好相关准备。
